On March 9, 2021, Sundance Energy Inc. and certain affiliates, which operate an onshore independent oil and natural gas company headquartered in Denver, Colorado, filed petitions for relief under Chapter 11 of the Bankruptcy Code in the Bankruptcy Court for the Southern District of Texas (Case No. 21-30882). The chapter 11 cases are prepackaged cases commenced for the purpose of implementing an agreed restructuring of the Debtors’ secured debt. Sundance Energy reports $100 to $500 million in assets and liabilities.
