On March 14, 2021, HighPoint Resources Corporation and its affiliates, a Denver, Colorado based company focused on the development of oil and natural gas assets located in the Denver-Julesburg Basin of Colorado, filed a petition for relief under Chapter 11 of the Bankruptcy Code in the Bankruptcy Court for the District of Delaware (Case No. 21-10565).  HighPoint Resources Corporation and its affiliates filed petitions under Chapter 11 to effectuate a previously announced prepackaged plan of reorganization and to consummate various transactions pursuant to an agreement and plan of merger executed on November 9, 2020.  The Debtor reports $500 million to $1 billion in both assets and liabilities.  A link to the HighPoint Resources Corporation petition and board resolutions can be found here.
