The foreign representative of Metinvest B.V., the parent company of a vertically integrated group of steel and mining companies headquartered in Ukraine, has filed a chapter 15 proceeding before the United States Bankruptcy Court for the District of Delaware (Case No.16-10105).  The filing is in furtherance of a proposed scheme of arrangement pending before the The High Court of Justice, Chancery Division, Companies Court in the United Kingdom.  The bankruptcy petition, petition for recognition, and the declaration of the foreign representative are provided.
